We had to create pictures for an advertising

CORAL TREE

©Rafael Medel
This picture represents a happy time during my childhood. I grew up very close to the beach and my parents and I went every weekend. I have many wonderful memories of that time in my life.

ALTERNATIVE FASHION

©Rafael Medel
This picture represents an alternative
fashion statement. The curve of the
model's face and hood contrasts with
the straight lines of the background.

BELTS

©Rafael Medel
This category of picture is fashion.

FLOWER

©Rafael Medel
In this picture, I used the technique of "light painting." In a dark room, I focused a flashlight on the subject and "painted" the light up and down while the camera captured the light.

WATCH

©Rafael Medel
I put water in a bowl and dropped a watch into it. I captured the bubbles that were created using a small aperture. I used one light source on the right side of the bowl. I wanted reflections, so I chose a metal bowl and metal watch.

LIGHTBULB

©Rafael Medel
I used two lights on the left and right sides of a lightbulb mounted on cardboard. A black piece of cardboard was the background. An assistant smashed another lightbulb into the mounted lightbulb, breaking it. I captured the moment when the lightbulb shattered.

WINE BOTTLE

©Rafael Medel
This is another photograph that was taken this week in the same studio. I like the rich reds in the bottle, the glasses, and the grapes.

ORANGE JUICE

The contrast of different containers of the same elements appeals to my sense of beauty.
